POLL: Obama administration gets high marks on swine flu
Fully two-thirds of Americans approve of how President Obama has handled the spread of the so-called swine flu so far, according a new poll released Wednesday.
Sixty-six approve of Obama’s handling of the outbreak in the Gallup poll, while 16 percent disapprove and 17 percent have no opinion.
The poll was conducted on Wednesday evening, the same time that Kathleen Sebelius was sworn in as secretary of Health and Human Services. Until now, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and White House press secretary Robert Gibbs have delivered most of the administration’s public statements on the outbreak.
There was a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percent in the poll.
