Armed Services Comte Confirms Former Lobbyist
The Senate Armed Services Committee voted to confirm William Lynn, a former defense lobbyist, as the Deputy Secretary of Defense. Now Lynn’s confirmation vote moves to the Senate floor where it’s still unclear whether Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will oppose it by placing a hold on the nomination.
