Casey: Kennedy Would Make a Great Senate Colleague
Sen. Bob Casey (D-Pa.) said he thinks Caroline Kennedy would do well to join him in the Senate as a representative from New York.
“Of the ones that are potentially up, she is the one that I know,” Casey said of whether he’d support Kennedy. “I was really impressed by her at so many levels.”
Kennedy has begun to campaign openly for New York’s Senate seat, angling either for an appointment by New York Gov. David Paterson (D) to fill the impending vacancy, or by running for the seat in 2010.
