Metro Uses Buses to Block Off Parade Route
As massive crowds gather in downtown Washington, D.C. to try to get to the Mall for President-elect Barack Obama’s swearing-in festivities, Metro has used buses to block off intersections along the inaugural parade route.
Buses are being used to cordon off much of the route, according to a Metro police officer.
“It’s what we have,” the officer said, shrugging.
