Obama Releases Transition Donor List
President-elect Barack Obama’s transition team today released its full list of donors, “in keeping with President-elect Obama’s pledge to run the most open and transparent transition in history,” as the transition team phrased it.
Obama’s transition operation says it had raised $1,170,937.44 from 1,776 donors as of Nov. 15 and that does not accept donations from corporations, labor unions, or PACs–only donations of under $5,000 from individuals’ personal funds.
