Palin Talks as Turkey is Knocked Off

A turkey has done what few people during the presidential campaign were able to do — upstage Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).

In her latest television interview, Palin talks at a farm as a man slaughters a live gobbler a few feet away. Palin discusses Alaska government and her Thanksgiving plans without paying much attention to what’s going on behind her.

Palin, however, isn’t insensitive to turkeys altogether; she pardoned one at the same farm Thursday.
