Martin Luther King Jr. Taught Truth, Courage and Justice (Rep. Ed Perlmutter)
Today we honor the life of a man who dedicated his life to justice and equality for all. He was and is a leader who inspires us to strive to be a part of a democracy that is open and accepting to all Americans, and to have hope that each and everyone of us possess the power to change the way things are done. On this holiday, I celebrate the values of truth, courage and justice he taught this country through his own life, and I honor a man who put his life on the line for freedom.
