Edwards Attacks Clinton in Ads

Former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards (D) has released two ads attacking Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), accusing her of practicing what the Edwards campaign calls “the politics of parsing.”

The first ad features debate footage of Clinton apparently contradicting herself on several issues. The second features a brief clip of Edwards answering a question on New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer’s (D) plan to issue driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
