Biden Discusses Solutions to the Darfur Crisis
Below is a video of presidential candidate Sen. Joe Biden’s (D-Del.) opening statement at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing on Darfur Wednesday.
“It’s been four years now since the crisis in Darfur erupted, four years since the genocide began. And it’s been three years and nine months since congress formally recognized this as genocide,” Biden said. “It’s been three years and seven months since the administration added its own recognition.”
“All these years later the question still remains,” he added, “What are we going to do about it?”
