Democratic presidential candidates participated in a health care forum in Las Vegas Saturday, voicing their concerns and strategies for the nation’s health care system. While candidates have different views, all agreed on expanded coverage and improved care.
Participants included Sen. Hillary Clinton (N.Y.), Sen. Chris Dodd (Conn.), former Sen. John Edwards (N.C.), Rep. Dennis Kucinich (Ohio), former Sen. Mike Gravel (Alaska), Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.), and Gov. Bill Richardson (N.M.).
Below are highlights from the forum, compiled by the Center for American Progress Action fund, which hosted the event along with the Service Employees International Union.
