Responding to Hoyer’s “Maybe” on Passing the AMT

This is completely unacceptable. The Democrat majority has no problem introducing the largest tax increase in American history or loading up spending bills with pork barrel spending, but when it comes to fixing or even patching the AMT to protect hard-working taxpayers they simply can’t be bothered. Simply stated: The Democrats are unable to part with the money they take from the taxpayers because it feeds their spending habits. The outdated AMT disproportionately hurts the middle class and our nation. A patch must be passed before more hard-working Americans are punished.
