Missing E-mail Accusations Lack Factual Basis (Rep. Tom Davis)

After reading the majority staff report on the use of RNC E-Mail Accounts by White House Officials it is clear that yesterday’s report was hardly that. It was a press release. I was disappointed to see an investigative report come out of our Committee with such little documentary support. I instruct my staff to be disciplined and meticulous in the course of conducting our investigations. When we report factual findings, we cite them, and unless there are strong reasons against doing it, we release the evidence we rely on in arriving at our findings.
