The Senate begins the week with votes on three nominations.
The Senate will convene at 2 p.m. for leadership remarks.
{mosads} At 5:30 p.m., senators will vote to confirm Julie E. Carnes to be a U.S. circuit judge for the eleventh circuit. Two voice votes are expected on the nominations of Michael Anderson Lawson to be U.S. Representative on the Council of the International Civil Aviation Organization and Eunice Reddick to be U.S. ambassador to Niger.
The House is not in session.
