“If we don’t do this, we should all get fired because the fact is that the most basic promise we make, to uphold the laws and rules of this country,” said Warner from the Senate floor.
“I can’t think anything that’s more quintessentially American than making sure you pay our bills on time and that you honor your obligations,” he added.
