McConnell: Obama has made difficult economic situation worse
“The president has inherited a difficult situation, but in a lot of ways he’s made it worse,” McConnell said, as reported by Bowling Green, Ky., television station WBKO.
“Unemployment is up 18 percent since the president came into office,” McConnell continued. “The federal debt is up 35 percent, gas prices [are] up 101 percent and health insurance premiums are up 19 percent.”
McConnell was addressing the Logan County Chamber of Commerce.
