Sen. Tom Carper (D-Del.) said he drives a 13-year-old Town & Country minivan.
{mosads}Carper’s confession came while he was talking about ways the U.S. Postal Service could save money on the Senate floor Thursday evening.
He was suggesting that the U.S. Postal Service upgrade to more energy-efficient vehicles that are appropriately sized for what they carry and deliver.
Carper said his wife has suggested he do the same thing by trading in his old Chrysler minivan, but he hasn’t gotten around to it yet.
