Reid demands ‘butchery’ stop in Israel

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) condemned the “vicious terrorist attack” Tuesday where four were killed at a Jerusalem synagogue.

“These horrific acts are a direct result of incitement and I call on the Palestinian leadership to condemn these attacks unequivocally,” Reid said on the Senate floor. “This butchery has no place in our modern world.”

{mosads}Two Palestinian men reportedly entered the ultra-orthodox synagogue carrying guns, knives and axes. They killed four men during morning prayers, three of which were Americans.

Reid said the attack was not isolated since “Palestinian terrorists” have recently increased attacks against Israelis.

The administration has condemned the attacks and voiced support for Israel.
