The jam-packed interactive cranberry presentation — which some D.C.-area schoolchildren were invited to wade into — was aimed at promoting American cranberry growers and the health benefits of the red-colored berries.
Organizers told ITK the show of cranberry force was “not affected” by the shutdown.
