Clintons’ vacation pad swankier than Obamas’

In the battle of pricey vacation pads, the Clintons are apparently besting President Obama.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are vacationing this month in a home in the Hamptons worth $18 million, according to The Huffington Post.

{mosads}The deluxe setup boasts seven bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms. In case the former first family is in need of a cup of sugar, the New York rental’s neighbors include: Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin and Steven Spielberg (he owns a $25 million ocean-front abode, writes the Post).

The home in Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., that the Obamas are renting for their two-week vacay sounds downright modest by comparison. The Martha’s Vineyard Times says the Massachusetts mansion — worth an estimated $12 million — features an infinity pool, a gym, and a dual tennis-basketball court on 10 acres.

The White House announced Wednesday that Obama, who was originally slated to stay in Martha’s Vineyard from August 9-24, will head back to Washington on August 17 “to attend meetings” at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. He’ll then return to Martha’s Vineyard two days later.

The White House provided no additional details about the change in vacation plans.
