CNN to host Jane Fonda at WHCA dinner

Jane Fonda – the famed actress, political activist, and ex-wife of CNN founder Ted Turner – will attend the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner as a guest of the cable network, ITK has learned.

Fonda, 77, also played the head of a fictional cable news outlet on Aaron Sorkin’s HBO drama “The Newsroom.”

{mosads}In addition to Fonda, CNN’s bringing “McSteamy” himself to the April 25 festivities, hosting “Grey’s Anatomy” actor Eric Dane, known for his role as Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan on the ABC series, at the event.

Dane’s wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, will also attend the Correspondents’ dinner as a guest of CNN.
