Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban is rolling out the welcome wagon for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump ahead of his just-announced “huge campaign rally” in Dallas later this month.
“I can’t be there,” Cuban told Business Insider, “but I have no doubt he will kill it in Texas.”
{mosads}Trump will address supporters Sept. 14 at the American Airlines Center, home court for Cuban’s basketball team.
Cuban, who previously said Trump was “the best thing to happen to politics in a long time” and even floated the possibility of joining his ticket, told the news website that Mavericks fans are primarily pro-Trump.
“They love that he is shaking things up,” he said through his Cyber Dust app. “There is nothing more Texan than being confident and entrepreneurial.”
