‘West Wing’ cast to reunite for Clinton campaign
The cast of “The West Wing” is reuniting to campaign for Hillary Clinton.
{mosads}Allison Janney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, Dulé Hill, Mary McCormack and Joshua Malina — who all played prominent roles in the fictional Bartlet White House — will appear at pro-Clinton events in Ohio this weekend, the Democratic presidential nominee’s team announced Wednesday.
According to the campaign, the performers will discuss “why they are supporting Clinton and urge Ohioans to register to vote.”
It’s not the first time the stars of the popular show have gotten the gang back together. Last year, some of the cast members appeared in a video promoting the White House’s annual Big Block of Cheese Day, which was inspired by the show.
Whitford and actor Martin Sheen — who played President Josiah Bartlet on the NBC show, which ran until 2006 — also appeared in a star-studded video on Wednesday, produced by the Save the Day PAC that bashed Clinton’s rival for the White House, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump.
