Jay-Z to hold pro-Clinton concert in Cleveland

Jay-Z is reportedly poised to lend his voice to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, headlining a concert for the Democratic presidential nominee in the final weeks before Election Day.

{mosads}While the date has yet to be announced, the aim of the Cleveland concert is to mobilize black voters, BuzzFeed reported Monday.

The New York-born rapper, along with wife Beyoncé, has been an outspoken supporter of President Obama. The music power couple hosted a 2012 fundraiser for Obama’s reelection bid and have been guests at his White House.

Clinton’s campaign has been touting a series of high-profile events featuring its most recognizable celebrity supporters in the last weeks before the Nov. 8 election.

Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry and Jon Bon Jovi were all announced last week as part of a string of get-out-the-vote performances organized by the Clinton camp. Miley Cyrus also campaigned door to door for Clinton in Virginia on Saturday.
