Conway gets into heated exchange with Whoopi Goldberg on ‘The View’

Co-host of “The View” Whoopi Goldberg grilled Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway during her appearance on the talk show Wednesday. 

{mosads}While discussing the Republican presidential nominee’s standing in the polls and his treatment of the media, the two repeatedly talked over one another. 

“What I think you need to do is get ready for a chyron that says President-elect Donald J. Trump,” Conway said, saying Trump would come on the show if elected. 

“I don’t care if he ever comes back on this show myself,” Goldberg responded. 

“Wow,” Conway said. 

“I’ve been very clear about that,” Goldberg continued. “I’ve been very clear about that because we’ve asked him and he’s also been very nasty about people I care about.” 

“Let me tell you what’s nasty,” Conway “Nasty is Hillary Clinton’s endless—”  

“No, no no no,” Goldberg interrupted as Conway tried to finish her argument. 

Trump called the Democratic nominee a “nasty woman” in the third presidential debate, facing immediate backlash from Democrats and Clinton supporters who used the opportunity to attack him for his treatment of women.
