Ellen: Clinton ‘can’t catch a break’

Ellen DeGeneres is encouraging people to cast their ballots, but she says the 2016 race “just divides people” — and she can’t wait for it to be over.

“Tomorrow is Election Day, and everyone must vote,” the daytime talk show host tells Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) in a preview clip from Monday’s episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”

{mosads}“And I will personally be glad when this is all over, because it just divides people,” DeGeneres added.

DeGeneres, a Hillary Clinton supporter who has hosted the Democratic nominee multiple times on her show, told Warren in the interview taped on Nov. 1 that it “feels like she can’t catch a break.”

“There are a lot of things stacked against her — being a woman is No. 1,” DeGeneres, 58, said.

“But the fact that these email things will not go away,” the comedian added.

Warren, who’s railed against GOP White House hopeful Donald Trump, says she’ll be watching election results come in Tuesday at home with her husband.

The lawmaker, appearing for the first time on the show, said, “I’ll be alternating between eating popcorn and eating my fingernails.”
