Alec Baldwin returning to ‘SNL’ to play Trump
Alec Baldwin is returning to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend to play President-elect Donald Trump.
Baldwin will reprise his role as Trump for the first time since the billionaire won the election.
{mosads}“I’m going to do it again this weekend, but not all that often,” Baldwin told Vanity Fair.
Baldwin was absent from last weekend’s show, which had Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton character singing “Hallelujah.”
Trump has previously indicated that he’s not a fan of Baldwin’s portrayal, tweeting in October that Baldwin’s impression of the businessman “stinks.”
“Watched Saturday Night Live hit job on me,” Trump wrote last month. “Time to retire the boring and unfunny show. Alec Baldwin portrayal stinks. Media rigging election!”
