Reporter finds senator’s bank card left in ATM
A congressional reporter on Thursday noticed an ATM in the Capitol subway station beeping and retrieved the bank card setting it off — which happened to belong to a senator.
Frank Thorp V, who covers Congress for NBC News, tweeted that he found the bank card of Sen. Richard Durbin (D-Ill.) left in the machine, eventually tagging the lawmaker to inform him that Capitol Police have his card.
ATM in Senate subway wouldn’t stop beeping, turns out someone left their card in the machine.
Name on the card: Richard Durbin.

{mosads}The situation is similar to an incident from last month, when Sen. Richard Burr (R-N.C.) left his card at a Capitol ATM after asking reporters questioning him to look away while he was typing in his PIN.
