President Trump’s new White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci is credited as an executive producer for an upcoming HBO movie about disgraced Penn State coach Joe Paterno.
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Saturday that Scaramucci is credited as an executive producer on the currently-unnamed movie, which is being referred to by HBO as “Untitled Barry Levinson Project.” It is about the sexual abuse scandal surrounding former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky and former head coach Paterno.

The movie will be directed by Levinson. It stars Al Pacino as legendary Penn State football coach Paterno, who was dismissed from the university amid scandal in 2011.
According to the Reporter, HBO is being tight-lipped about Scaramucci’s role, but it is likely that the investment banker was only involved with securing funding for the film.
Scaramucci has a history of helping finance movie productions. Scaramucci also lists an upcoming movie starring Cheri Oteri on his financial disclosure form, according to the report. It is titled “Crazy for the Boys. Scaramucci secured funding for that movie but is not listed as an executive producer.
The HBO film is set to air in 2018, and was originally titled “Happy Valley,” before that title was dropped due to another production’s use.
