Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Hillary Clinton’s new book about the 2016 presidential election.

“I was just thinking to myself this morning, ‘I would love to relive that magical election of 2016,’” he said on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”

“It’s like reading a book about why the Titanic sank while you’re sitting at the bottom of the ocean.”

Kimmel noted that the 2016 Democratic nominee called former FBI Director James Comey a “rash FBI director.”

“Although in fairness to Comey, he only got that rash after being forced to shake hands with her husband,” Kimmel said.

In her book, titled “What Happened,” Clinton vents at a number of prominent Democrats over the 2016 election loss, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), her rival in the Democratic primary.

“His attacks caused lasting damage, making it harder to unify progressives in the general election,” she wrote.

She also lashed out at former Vice President Joe Biden for saying she did not talk enough about the middle class on the campaign trail.

Clinton has received pushback from Democrats about her book. Rep. Jared Huffman (D-Calif.) said that her book comes at the “worst possible time” for Democrats.

“We are fighting some of the most high-stakes policy and institutional battles we may ever see, at a time when we’re trying to bring the party together so we can all move the party forward — stronger, stronger together,” he said.

“There is a collective groan whenever there’s another news cycle about this,” Huffman added.
