Trump Jr. feuds with Kimmel: ‘You’re probably due for a change’

President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., feuded with late-night host Jimmy Kimmel on Saturday after Kimmel urged the president to “quit that boring job.”

Trump Jr. shared Kimmel’s original Twitter attack and asked the late-night host if he had “thoughts on Harvey Weinstein,” the Hollywood producer and Democratic mega-donor who was revealed in an explosive New York Times investigation to be facing sexual assault accusations from multiple women.

“You mean that big story from the failing, liberal, one-sided @nytimes?” Kimmel shot back. “I think it is disgusting.”

“Great I look forward to your monologues next week,” Trump Jr. responded. “You’re probably due for a change if only for a moment or two.”

Trump Jr. and other Republicans have called on Democrats such as Hillary Clinton and Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) to return past donations from Weinstein in the wake of the harassment allegations. A number of Democrats including Schumer have returned donations.

Earlier Saturday morning, Trump Jr. directed another tweet referencing Weinstein at Clinton.

“Weird, Hillary has been really quiet about Harvey Weinstein,” he tweeted. “You would think she would be all Over this.”

The back-and-forth between Trump Jr. and Kimmel came Saturday morning after the president said he should get “equal time” on TV in response to comedians’ “anti-Trump” jokes.

Kimmel has emerged as a top critic of the Trump administration and Republicans in recent weeks over the GOP’s last-ditch attempt to repeal ObamaCare. The ABC host was a vocal opponent of the Graham-Cassidy bill, which GOP leaders declined to bring to a vote due to a lack of support.
