Trump ‘dishonored’ with plaque commemorating ‘Access Hollywood’ tape

A plaque commemorating President Trump’s infamous remarks about grabbing women “by the p—-” was briefly posted at the studios where the comments were made.

A visual effects artist for the CW show “Legends of Tomorrow” posted a photo on his Facebook page of a small plaque that he said the show’s producers put up, with the caption, “In dishonor of our President, the producers of my show have created a plaque commemorating his comments to Billy Bush, which happened on our lot.”

The infamous “Access Hollywood” tape, which was revealed by The Washington Post just weeks before last year’s presidential election, featured a hot-mic recording from 2005 of then-“Apprentice” host Trump talking about kissing and fondling women without their consent.

“When you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump said.

The plaque reads, “On this spot in September 2005, Donald J. Trump bragged about committing sexual assault. In November 2016, he was elected President of the United States.”

A producer on the show said later that the plaque was taken down within 15 minutes of being displayed.

Earlier this month, on the one-year anniversary of the tape’s release, a women’s advocacy group played it on a 12-hour loop near the White House. 

“It was not so-called ‘locker room talk,’ it was a man bragging about sexually assaulting women. That man may now sit in the Oval Office, but we will not let him — or anyone else — forget the tape or those comments,” Ultraviolet co-founder Shaunna Thomas said in a statement before the demonstration.
