McCain congratulates daughter Meghan on marriage to conservative writer
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is celebrating the nuptials of his daughter, “The View” co-host Meghan McCain, saying he was “blessed” to be there as she tied the knot in Arizona this week.
“Yesterday I was deeply blessed to give away my little girl at a ceremony with family & friends in Arizona. Congratulations [Meghan McCain] & [Ben Domenech] — we are so happy for you!” McCain tweeted on Wednesday.

Meghan McCain, 33, married Domenech, a conservative pundit, in a Tuesday ceremony at her family’s ranch in Arizona, her rep confirmed to ITK. People magazine was first to report the marriage news.
“We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout,” the author and former Fox News contributor tweeted to her more than 380,000 followers on Twitter the day after the wedding.

The wedding comes just months after John McCain publicly announced he was diagnosed with brain cancer. The 81-year-old lawmaker said in September that while doctors delivered a “very poor prognosis,” he planned to “celebrate with gratitude a life well lived.”
