Lara Trump: Clinton reading ‘Fire and Fury’ at Grammys was ‘sad,’ ‘despicable’

Lara Trump on Monday blasted Hillary Clinton’s appearance on the Grammy Awards reading from “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” as “despicable” and “disgusting.”

“It’s a ridiculous book. And, you know, I find it so despicable, so sad that I guess Hillary Clinton feels she needs to validate herself and put herself back out there by doing something this ridiculous,” President Trump’s daughter-in-law said on Fox News.

“It was just really disgusting, I thought,” she added.

Clinton appeared Sunday night in a prerecorded segment in which several musicians read from the explosive book about the Trump administration under the premise of winning an award for narration next year.

John Legend, Cher, Snoop Dogg and Cardi B all read from passages of the book as well.

Following Clinton’s reading, Grammys host James Corden entered the scene, exclaiming, “That’s it — that’s the one!”

“You think so?” the former Democratic presidential nominee replied with a smile. “The Grammy’s in the bag?”

The book is filled with explosive allegations about the Trump administration, and sparked a feud between the president and his former chief strategist, Stephen Bannon. Trump has labeled the book’s author a “fraud,” and the administration has called the project “fiction.”
