Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was surprised by her husband last week with a new puppy.
{mosads}”When I got back from Washington on Thursday night, Bruce had someone new waiting for me,” Warren tweeted on Sunday with a picture of her new puppy. “There’s a lot of pain and chaos in the world right now — we decided to bring a little gentleness and normalcy into our lives. Meet our new puppy (name TBD). He’s a sweetie.”
Warren has maintained a prominent role over the past couple years in Washington.
She most recently joined the growing calls from Democratic lawmakers to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement, saying on Saturday that Trump’s “deeply immoral actions have made it obvious we need to rebuild our immigration system from top to bottom.”
