Murkowski, who has served in the Senate since 2002, is up for reelection in 2022. She will likely be a top primary target from the right, as she was the sole Republican vote against confirming Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018.
{mosads}The Alaska Republican previously won as a write-in candidate after losing in her 2010 primary to Joe Miller.
She is not the only lawmaker to take a ride on the popular electric scooters, which have taken over Washington, D.C., and other cities in recent months. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) can be seen riding one in the Netflix documentary “Knock Down the House.”
