Melania Trump made her only public appearance of the Republican National Convention (RNC), waving and smiling as she entered solo during its final night.
The former first lady was seen sporting a red outfit and grinning as the crowd applauded. She entered the Fiserv Forum and joined former President Trump and family members from a viewing box.
In his remarks at the convention, the former president thanked his wife of 19 years.
“On this journey, I’m honored to be joined by my amazing wife, Melania,” Trump said, praising her “beautiful letter to America” that she penned after the campaign rally attack.
He suggested his spouse’s statement should be added as part of the official Republican platform, saying, “That would be an honor.”
Trump has kept a low profile during her husband’s 2024 White House bid. She had not been spotted in Milwaukee since the RNC kicked off on Monday.
Last week, Melania Trump issued a statement calling for unity following an assassination attempt against her husband at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
