Singer Charli XCX is giving Kamala Harris a brat boost, appearing to throw her support behind the vice president’s White House run.
“Kamala IS brat,” the 31-year-old “360” singer wrote Sunday on the social platform X, shortly after President Biden announced he was exiting the 2024 race and endorsing Harris.
The sentiment from Charli XCX, who was born Charlotte Aitchison, lends some pop star bonafides to Harris’s presidential bid.
The entertainer released her sixth album, “Brat,” last month.
Charli XCX has described the term “brat” as a compliment, writing when she launched her album, “At the end of the day, that’s exactly what brat is all about: me, my flaws, my f‑‑‑ ups, my ego all rolled into one.”
Harris’s campaign appeared to welcome the brat praise, mimicking the green-hued marketing campaign for Charli XCX’s album on its own @KamalaHQ account on X. Harris’s personal social media accounts also followed the music star on X and Instagram.
