Pop star Pink performed Thursday, the final night of the Democratic National Convention.
She was joined on stage by several people who helped her sing her iconic song “What About Us?”
Alecia Beth Hart Moore, known professionally as Pink, was joined by her 13-year-old daughter, Willow Sage Hart.
The two, along with Pink’s four backup singers and guitarist, performed the song ahead of Vice President Harris’s official nomination at the convention.
The song was first released in 2017 as a political anthem in the wake of former President Trump’s election.
Pink has been a longtime political advocate.
After Harris announced her candidacy, the singer joined a massive fundraising call that broke a record for the technology platform.
Last year, she announced she would give away books banned by the state of Florida at her concerts.
In 2022, she released a song titled “Irrelevant,” with a political message. The proceeds from her song went to When We All Vote, former first lady Michelle Obama’s nonpartisan voting organization.
Willow Hart is making a name for herself in the music scene, too. In 2018, she released a cover of “A Million Dreams” for the movie “The Greatest Showman: Reimagined.” In 2021, she and her mother released “Cover Me in Sunshine.”
