Elon Musk’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ hosting gig sparks pushback
NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” has been hit with backlash after announcing billionaire Elon Musk would host an upcoming episode.
Musk, the owner of Tesla and SpaceX and one of the richest people on Earth, is slated to host the sketch comedy show on May 8 with Miley Cyrus as the musical guest.
The announcement was met with pushback on social media, including from members of the show’s regular cast, who highlighted the growing wealth disparity in America.
