Rep. Foxx: ‘I’ve never been this tall before’
Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) got a major lift at a press conference on Wednesday.
{mosads}The member of leadership, who is vertically challenged, is not a regular at House GOP press conferences. But she attended Wednesday’s event, with the help of a crate (usually reserved for Rep. Lynn Jenkins, R-Kan.), another member of the House GOP leadership.
After she stepped up to the mic, Foxx said, “I’ve never been this tall before.”
The 6-foot-plus Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) was next to speak. He smiled and nudged the crate aside.
