MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski will be in the nation’s capital Tuesday to discuss eating disorders.
The co-host of “Morning Joe” will be the keynote speaker for George Washington University’s weeklong series of events highlighting National Eating Disorders Awareness Week.
{mosads}Brzezinski has written a book about obesity titled, Obsessed: America’s Food Addiction — and My Own. The tome describes Brzezinski’s struggles with binge eating and how she overcame them. Experts note that a majority of eating disorder cases begin before age 25, and new college enrollees and others transitioning to a new environment are susceptible.
