Rep. Frank Wolf: I have been a lifelong stutterer
Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.) revealed on the House floor last week that he is a lifelong stutterer.
The retiring lawmaker said, “I have been a lifelong stutterer, and when I was young, I experienced some very difficult times.”
{mosads}Wolf added, more than 70 million people stutter, including 3 million Americans. He stressed that early intervention is necessary.
“If you stutter, or if a child or loved one stutters, or if you even think they might be stuttering, get help immediately,” Wolf said.
