Susan Sarandon had ‘literally’ the worst time at the Dem convention
The first night of the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia may have been all about unifying supporters of Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), but Susan Sarandon refused to walk across the gap.
{mosads}The award-winning actress, who earlier Monday ripped the Democratic National Committee’s apparent effort to tip the scales in favor of Clinton, now the party’s presumptive presidential nominee, as “disgusting,” was caught by convention cameras in the crowd looking decidedly unhappy Monday evening.

“Susan Sarandon is having literally the worst time at the #DemConvention” tweeted Ian McKenna, a video journalist for NowThis News, along with a GIF of the “Thelma and Louise” star shaking her head in disapproval as convention-goers around her cheered.
Sarandon later retweeted McKenna’s GIF, adding the caption “accurate.”

The longtime Sanders supporter wasn’t alone in her refusal to climb aboard the Clinton train. One Twitter user noted that Sarandon’s expression likely spoke volumes about how many in the convention arena felt last night.
