Colbert mocks Trump’s Cabinet: ‘Like watching your nana get a sponge bath’

Stehpen Colbert, host of CBS’s “Late Show,” mocked President-elect Donald Trump’s Cabinet picks on Thursday, calling them “upsetting.”

{mosads}“Watching Trump pick these people is like watching your nana get a sponge bath,” he said. “You know it has to be done, but it’s still upsetting.”

Colbert mocked Trump for picking climate change denier Scott Pruitt to lead the Environmental Protection Agency and pro wrestling executive Linda McMahon to head the Small Business Administration.

He also noted that the president-elect met with Mark Burnett, the producer of reality shows like “The Apprentice” and “Survivor” as well as the “People’s Choice Awards.”

“People’s choice, of course, technically, this year was [Democratic nominee] Hillary Clinton,” Colbert said.
