Actress Rosie O’Donnell attacked CNN anchor Chris Cuomo on Twitter Tuesday morning for his interview with White House adviser Kellyanne Conway, saying the CNN host needs to do more to keep dishonest people off the air.
In a tweet responding to Cuomo calling the two “friends,” the actress implored Cuomo to “DO UR DAMN JOB” and refuse to book Trump administration officials such as Conway in the future.
Chris – spare us ur journalistic heroics – she lies Chris – u put her on – and u act stunned – indignant – YOU KNOW SHE LIES – WE KNOW SHE LIES – STOP TALKING TO HER CHRIS – u r no ones hero captain obvious – YOU ARE THE GATEKEEPERS CUOMO!!!! DO UR JOB DAMN IT #DONTBOOKLIARS

Cuomo sparred with Conway earlier Tuesday over President Trump’s rhetoric on immigration reform, with the two talking over each other at times and Cuomo exasperatedly telling Conway to “listen to yourself.”
Conway has frequently sparred with CNN hosts, including with Cuomo on Twitter earlier this month following another on-air argument. On Tuesday, the two also fought over Trump’s tweet over the weekend referencing the Women’s March, which Cuomo took to be a “joke” at the march’s expense.
“Isn’t that insulting to all those women out there who are looking for leadership and looking for someone to get behind them? And, instead, he makes a joke out of the march,” Cuomo asked Conway.
“It is no joke that the women’s unemployment rate is the lowest it’s been in 17 years,” Conway responded.
