Michelle Obama says she’s “thrilled” by the new arrival for Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex. The royal couple welcomed a baby boy on Monday, Buckingham Palace announced.

After the news broke that the American-born duchess had given birth, the former first lady tweeted her congrats:

The baby is now seventh in line to the British throne.

{mosads}”This little thing is just absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon,” Prince Harry said in remarks to reporters shortly after his son’s birth.

The Obamas have forged a seemingly close relationship with the 34-year-old British prince over the years. In 2017, Harry interviewed Obama as part of a guest editor stint for BBC Radio 4.

He also visited Chicago that year for the Obama Foundation’s inaugural summit.

Obama wasn’t the only U.S. political figure to offer good wishes to the new addition. Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.), a 2020 presidential candidate who welcomed a daughter last October, gave a shout-out to Harry for becoming a father:
