Conan O’Brien will use an iPhone from home when he goes back on the air March 30, the late-night talk show host said Wednesday.

The TBS host said all of his staff will work from home, and he will speak with guests over Skype.

“This will not be pretty, but feel free to laugh at our attempt,” O’Brien tweeted. “Stay safe.”

“The quality of my work will not go down because technically that’s not possible,” O’Brien joked in a statement, according to The Associated Press.

Late-night talk shows have gone dark amid the coronavirus pandemic to avoid gathering crowds and TV crews.

NBC’s Jimmy Fallon has created 10-minute “At Home” shows for NBC’s “Tonight,” including a video chat with Lin-Manuel Miranda. Stephen Colbert made a 10-minute clip for CBS from his bathtub in a segment added to a rerun episode of “The Late Show.” Jimmy Kimmel and David Spade have also performed monologues from their homes.

The pandemic has upended public life in the U.S., leading to closures of restaurants, bars, casinos, gyms and other locations.

In the U.S., more than 10,700 people have contracted the virus, leading to more than 150 deaths and 106 recoveries, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.
