Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star spray painted with Black Lives Matter
President Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was spray-painted black over the weekend with the letters BLM, for Black Lives Matter, written on it.
TMZ first reported that the star had been defaced during protests, with multiple social media posts showing it covered in black with a bag of dog poop left on top of it.

The defacing of Trump’s star took place amid largely peaceful protests throughout Los Angeles over the weekend, as demonstrators continue to call for an end to police brutality after the death of George Floyd, a black man killed during a Minneapolis police arrest two weeks ago.
International Black Lives Matter protests have been drawn massive crowds, with protests held in all 50 states.
Trump’s star has been defaced multiple times in the past.
In has been covered in swastikas, placed behind prison bars, and covered with the words “Putin’s bitch.”
The city council has voted to have the star removed, but ultimately the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is in charge of whether it gets removed and has not taken any action to do so.
