What’s worse is that at least one (supposedly) key figure in the Obama administration even predicted an attempted terrorist attack. Joe Biden, just before Obama was elected president of the United States, said, “Mark my words: It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”

Biden was off a few months, but he was on the money. After that bold admission, Biden was also muzzled by Obama staff to the degree it is possible to muzzle Biden (and good for him, btw).
 
I think many Americans, no matter their political stripes, would hold Vice President Joe Biden in high esteem, indeed, if he spoke up today and demanded a new Homeland Security secretary. Putting country first, behind his politics, would certainly secure Biden’s spot in the history books and, along with the example set by Dick Cheney, help ensure the vice presidency is worth more than just that infamous “warm bucket of spit.”
