Presidential Campaign

Predictions

Here are my predictions for Iowa and New Hampshire.

Iowa (Republican)

Romney 34%
Huckabee 24%
McCain 18%

Huckabee’s ad blunder, coupled with the Bhutto assassination, helps Romney prevail, but the real story is the McCain comeback.

Iowa (Democrats)

Edwards 30%
Clinton 25%
Obama 22%

Edwards muscles a victory with a superior union organization and a big majority of second-place votes.

New Hampshire (Republicans)

McCain 29%
Romney 24%
Giuliani 18%

McCain uses momentum in Iowa to edge out Romney, as Giuliani gets into the game with a third-place finish.

New Hampshire (Democrats)

Clinton 30%
Obama 29%
Edwards 15%

Clinton wins but gets little satisfaction in a squeaker.
